There are three Member Categories in the Institute of Strategic Management, Nigeria (ISMN)

1. ASSOCIATE MEMBERSHIP
Routes
a. Low-cost Scheme (For Undergraduate & Serving Corp Members).
b. Direct Associate (For Graduate with 0-4 years working experiences).

2. FULL MEMBERSHIP
Routes
a. For Master Degree Holders in any profession.
b. For Graduate with 5 years & above post-graduate work experience.

3. FELLOWSHIP
Routes
a. Upgrade (For Full Members with 10 years post-graduate experience in Management/leadership).
b. Direct Fellowship (For Business Leader/Owners, Entrepreneurs, Political Leaders, Public Servant, Private Sectors working Class, Professionals with 15 years post graduate experience).
