ISMN to Aid Vision 2020’s Success.....Congratulate appointed Members.2012-10-16 06:16:16
The Institute of Strategic Management Nigeria (ISMN) has pledged to contribute to the achievement of the Federal government vision 2020 through the training of its members who are in government on how to make the plan succeed.
The Registrar of the Institute, Mr Yemi Mapaderun who made the promise stated that the Vision 2020 requires that every ministry, department and agency of the federal government and other tiers of government (States and local government) should prepare strategic plans. 
Mr Mapaderun who was reacting to the news of the appointment of six of its members into various government positions in Osun state last week pointed out that the processes of formulating strategic plan will be used to train members on how to make strategic plan work for government and organizations.
One of the Institute’s members was appointed as Head of Service for Osun State, he is Mr Olayinka Owoeye. Others appointed as Permanent Secretaries are Mr Oluwadamilare Oyeleke - Local government and Chieftaincy Affairs, Mr Olusegun Olorunsogo – Environment, Mr Oyelade Oyeniran – Education, Mr Moses Olayinka – Teachers’ establishment and Pensions Office and Mr Moses Oyinlola who was appointed as General Manager of Osun State Tourism Board.
While congratulating the appointees, Mr Mapaderun stated that it was a thing of pride and honour that members of the Institute were considered fit for such appointments assuring them that that ISMN will be ready to offer support and advice at all time during their tenure.
The Institute of Strategic Management, Nigeria (ISMN) is a professional management association, which specializes in strategic leadership and governance. It was established in 2003 as an independent, non-government, non-profit organization.

The Institute currently has a membership base of over 25,000 members spanning associate, full member, and fellowship.
